Sterling Morton of Nebraska City, Nebraska proposed a tree-planting holiday. His idea was so popular that it has been estimated that more than one million trees were planted in Nebraska on that first Arbor Day. The facility will be located on the vacant site adjacent to the Village Tower apartments on Ruth Street in Prescott. In addition to the 10 private rooms, the facility will have a fully equipped nurses station; a chapel; a living room; library; and individual patios for each resident's room to allow nature's healing for both the patient and their family.
